Hessle are too hot to handle

Eastrington 2nd XI took on Hessle at home last Saturday afternoon under a baking hot sky.

Captained by Neil Dale the home side got off to a promising start but the intense heat soon took its toll and Eastrington were soon all out for 101. Young Harry Pearce (13) gave the home side some hope after bowling 2-18 after just five overs but sadly the bowling suffered as the game went on and when the fifth man came to the crease for Hessle he was just too good and soon after the game was all over 102-5 for the away team.
