Vikings stand tall for Rob

Goole Vikings RLFC hosted a charity match at the VPG last Friday evening.

The Rob Burrows charity match saw Goole Vikings take on Ackworth Jaguars in front of a sold-out crowd.

The Vikings Juniors team kicked off the evening’s events with two mini games centre stage of the field against the Ackworth juniors. The main game kicked off at 7pm and the final score was 38-4 to Ackworth.

Goole Vikings took part in a charity match to raise money for MND Association in honour of Leeds Rhinos player, Rob Burrows. (15-07-85 GT)

Kickboxers rally to raise cash for stricken colleague Harry

Members of Goole Kickboxing Cub have raised £1,855 in honour of one of their members who has been diagnosed with a rare tumour. The club held a sponsored kick time trial at West Park on Sunday, July 11 to raise money to support 13-year-old Harry Peace and his family after the youngster was diagnosed with the rare disease. Goole AFC Supporters Club has launched a fundraising night for people to let loose.
