Members of Goole Kickboxing Cub have raised £1,855 in honour of one of their members who has been diagnosed with a rare tumour.

The club held a sponsored kick time trial at West Park on Sunday, July 11 to raise money to support 13-year-old Harry Peace and his family after the youngster was diagnosed with the rare disease. Members of the club turned out with the support of their friends and family to take part in the competition, with Alfie Grisbourne, 14 and Alex Abbey, 15 being crowned joint winners after both scoring an impressive 137. Head Coach Tony O'Hara said: “It’s been a fantastic turnout and the club members have supported the event really well. “We‘ve raised support from friends and family and all the money raised will help Harry and his family with expenses. “Thank you to all the students who helped raise the money and for putting on such a great event - well done!”
