Airmyn consolidated their place in the play-off positions, after coming from 2-0 down to earn a draw at fellow play-off contenders Bessacarr. Airmyn lost captain Higgins to injury in the opening minutes after a horrendous tackle from an opposition forward meant he could no longer continue.

In the early stages of the game Airmyn created chances through a Ritchie header and Lamming forcing the keeper into a good save. After coming back into the game, Bessacarr opened the scoring from a corner after their striker headed home from close range. Bessacarr had the better of the game and just before the half-time interval, they had a glorious chance to make it two. After being set through on goal, a fine save from Tooke ensured the deficit was still at one going into the break.

With a change of formation, Airmyn started the second half brightly but were once again undone from a set piece after a glancing header which nestled in the side of the goal. With Airmyn now chasing the game, the deficit was cut back to one with 15 minutes left on the clock. After good play in the middle by the Ullathorne brothers, Lamming was set through on the left-hand side and with some neat footwork, put it on a plate for Guest to finish from a couple of yards out. With Airmyn working tirelessly to find an equaliser, one came with less than ten minutes left on the clock. An exquisite ball over the top of the Bessacarr defence from Nugent, sent Lamming free to chip the ball over the oncoming goalkeeper to level the scores. Airmyn looked the team most likely to score again, however they had to settle with a draw in the end.
