Goole Youth Athletics Club scooped eight medals at the Humberside County Athletics Championship.
The event was held at Grimsby’s King George V Stadium on Sunday, August 22. Natalie Walsh won two gold medals in the U17 women’s 100m with 13.97 and the 200m in 28.45. Beth Grogan won gold in the senior women’s 5,000m in 20.18.3, while Lucas Walton secured a gold in the U17 men’s 400m in 53.9. Ewan Macmillan won two silvers and achieved three personal bests, with the first medal secured in the U11 boys’ 80m in 13.26, long jump with 3.06m and finishing in fourth in the 150m in 24.23. Imogen Stevens won a bronze in the U15 girls’ 800m in 2.43 and a fourth place and personal best in the long jump with 3.70m. She also secured another personal best in the 300m in 47.04 and another fourth place in the 100m in 14.44.
