A beautician has made the most of her new home by launching an interior décor Instagram account that compliments her business one – and now sees her sharing beauty and interior design tips with nearly 14,000 followers.
Rhea Dale, the owner of the Brow Room in Brough, just outside Hull, recently moved into a new Bellway home in South Cave with roofer boyfriend, Sam Cross and decided that her love for interior design would translate to Instagram and she’s not looked back since. “The account started off as a bit of fun for Sam and I; sharing pictures of our house buying story with friends; but as the number of followers grew I started to take it more seriously,” said Rhea, who says her interior style is inspired by Yorkshire’s own Linda Barker. “I love interior design and having settled on a theme of all things neutral I’ve enjoyed every single minute of the work we’ve done on the house – whether it’s been finding the perfect cushions for the couch in the living room or adding a glow up to the kitchen sink.” Rhea’s interior design Instagram account is called @newhome_no.74 and new followers will find it updated virtually every day.
The house that Rhea and Sam bought was a three-bedroom semi-detached The Turner on Bellway’s popular Barleycorn Way development in South Cave. “We’d looked at a lot of three-bedroom homes before visiting Bellway, and as soon as we saw this one, we knew it was the one we wanted,” added Rhea. “The space was great and the location’s perfect as it’s close to our friends, family and my business.” “Bellway made the move easy as well, with sales advisor, Cathy answering our every question and sorting everything out quickly, efficiently and with a smile on her face.” The love of the area isn’t limited to Rhea and Sam. The couple have two dogs, a pug called Mila and Winston, a French bulldog, and with so much green space around Barleycorn Way the dogs are also loving life in their new home. In addition, Rhea’s dad, Russell, was so impressed by his daughter’s new Bellway home that he bought a new home on the company’s nearby Swanland Grange development in Swanland. “My dad loves his new house, although so far he’s resisted setting up his own Instagram account!” joked Rhea.
