Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Michael Gove, has visited Goole today to officially open the new Components Facility at Siemens Mobility’s new factory on Tom Pudding Way.
The politician joined senior managers and apprentices from Siemens Mobility as well as Goole MP Andrew Percy to open the facility which is set to create an additional 30 skilled jobs within the next year.
Goole Times senior reporter, Emily Collins attended the opening and questioned Mr Gove on how local education provisions can be improved to ensure people from our area have the neccassary skills to access high skilled roles such as those at Siemens’ new site.
