Goole’s annual Remembrance Sunday parade will take place on Sunday, November 14.
The event’s proceedings will commence at 10.05am, outside the Charter Club on Pasture Road, where the parade will start.
The parade will then march to the Cenotaph War Memorial where a service will be held at 11am and wreaths will be laid.
The Goole and Howden branch of the Royal British Legion will also be celebrating its 100th year anniversary following the parade.
Adrian Blanchard, vice chair of the Goole and Howden Royal British Legion said: “We are pleased that so many veterans, serving personnel, uniformed organisations and members of the public will be attending Goole’s Remembrance Parade our hope is to get 100 veterans and Service personnel on parade to remember those who have served our country. It is a very moving occasion and I am honoured to be part of It “.
Service sheets will be available on the day and everyone is welcome to attend the event and line the route of the parade which will be along Pasture Road and Boothferry Road.
