East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s countryside access team is organising a summer wildlife walk at Oakhill Nature Reserve in Goole on Sunday, August 14.
Attendees can look forward to a walk, led by guest leader Peter Hinks from British Dragonfly Society and Butterfly Conservation, looking at dragonflies and butterflies, and is a great opportunity for people to see and learn about these fantastic flying wonders.
The free event (where attendees are asked to book online for a free place) starts at 10am at Oakhill Nature Reserve car park, off Tom Pudding Way in Goole (DN14 6XL), and lasts until 12noon, covering 1.5 miles around the reserve.
For further information about the event, contact the council’s countryside access team at Countryside.Access@eastriding.gov.uk or visit https://eryc.link/dragonflies-and-butterflies-of-Oakhill where you can book a free slot via the ‘Book online’ button at the bottom of the web page.
