Kingsway School pupils and their families have received a much needed festive boost after generous people donated items to make luxury Christmas hampers for more than 20 children.
The school has handed out 24 hampers to pupils this Christmas thanks to donations from local dance school Duet School of Dance, members of the local community, and staff and parents. The hampers were filled with toys, treats, food and hygiene products, which were then won by lucky children in the school, with at least one child from each class receiving a hamper. The school’s family welfare officer, Lynsey Ledger said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made a donation. Their kindness has made a significant difference to our children and families.”
