Junction is hosting a show that is set in our very own Goole.
‘Château Ghoul’ combines live hilarity with digital projections that create a multimedia haunted house thriller for all the family.
The show is brought to you by multi-award winning LipService Theatre, also known as Maggie Fox and Sue Ryding, who have been keeping audiences entertained for more than 30 years.
Château Ghoul is East Yorkshire’s go-to boutique hotel that offers themed weekends. The hosts, Brian and Brenda Binns introduce a variety of different events: their supernatural sensation, Psychic Attraction, their upcycling weekend and the ever popular 1970’s Shanga Langa Waddy Ding Dong experience.
It would be guaranteed fun…if all the guests didn’t keep dying!
The Goole Times asked LipService for three reasons why the show cannot be missed. They said:
“1. The show is called Château Ghoul, East Yorkshire’s favourite boutique hotel located in Goole!
“2. You get to join in! Audience members are given a festival wristband on arrival and get involved in making an origami ghost.
“3. There is music! A folk ballad from Funghi Foragers Slippery Jack and Chanterelle ‘Château Ghoul, Babe’ is performed by the hosts Brian and Brenda Binns, plus there is a finale song performed by all the Château’s resident ghosts.”
The show is playing at Junction on Friday, January 28 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £15 and can be bought from the box office: 01405 763652.
The show uses digital projections to bring the haunted hotel to life. (27-01-318 SU)
